My Tribute to Wilda

Wilda you were so strong and wise.

Someone I longed to be.

With a smile as beautiful as the evening skies.

Wilda, those lessons you taught will always stay with me.

An inspiration to us all.

Her spirit shines as bright as the morning sun.

With compassion she could make even the smallest feel tall.

Wilda, you will never be forgotten for all that you have done.

She brought love and happiness into my day.

She made us laugh. She mage us cry.

She made life joyous in every way.

Wilda, it’s so hard to say goodbye.

To the angels, I say you are blessed,

to have a new friend.

Someone with a heart bigger than all of the rest.

Wilda, your presence will stay with us until the end.

Because He Lives
God sent His Son - they called Him Jesus,
He came to love, heal and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

Because He lives I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives.
How sweet to hold a newborn baby
And feel the pride and joy he gives;
But greater still the calm assurance:
This child can face uncertain days because Christ lives.

And then one day I'll cross the river,
I'll fight life's final war with pain;
And then, as death gives way to victory,
I'll see the lights of glory - and I'll know He lives.
